Eclipse was founded by a world class builder/designer and an elite architect. We are decidedly small in
order to maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail. A limited number of openings are
reserved for custom clientele seeking original homes with inspiring design. We believe it is critical for all
our team members and Principals to have ample time devoted to every home we create. Our boutique
building approach ensures both our clients and team truly enjoy the process.

David Sklar

After receiving his degree in Architecture from University of Tennessee, David started his own design/build company in Maryland focusing on unique and efficient designs. He brings that experience
to Eclipse ID. Known for his innovative design solutions for both the interior and exterior of homes, David’s creativity leads to exciting spaces that turn any house into a livable piece of art. David is also a member and the lead design professional at the architectural and planning firm SM7 Design.

Thomas Michaels Jr.

Seeking  new and exciting avenues to accompany his architectural degree from Kent State University, Tom obtained a Residential Builders license. This allows him to follow the residential designs to the field and see the paper come to life. Tom is also a member and a licensed architect at the architectural and planning firm SM7 Design.

Vail Sklar

Vail received his degree in Construction Management from the Technical College of the Lowcounty after
learning the construction trade from his father and working for several local residential contractors. He
brings his youthful energy to Eclipse ID and serves as a construction superintendent.
